Kiyono says the Aman Integrative Wellness Centre combines advance medical treatments with traditional healing.

Global Head of Health and Wellness, Yuki Kiyono describes the partnership between Novak Djokovic and Aman Resorts as a convergence of values. Founded in 1988, the luxury hotel group attracts affluent holidaymakers with its ultra-premium service and exclusive, holistic experiences that integrate local healing traditions.

With Djokovic as Global Wellness Advisor, Aman Resorts will tap into his on- and off-court experiences to bolster its bespoke programmes for guests. Having won 24 Grand Slam men’s singles titles and an Olympic gold medal, the Serbian has co-curated a retreat series with Maria Sharapova. The former world’s No. 1 women’s tennis champion, who retired from the sport in 2020, is now an Aman Resorts Global Wellness Ambassador.

These retreats aim to inspire and rejuvenate participants throughout 2025. Programmes cater to various aspects of wellness, including physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional resilience.

Djokovic’s other responsibility is with Aman Essentials, which includes skincare, fragrances, ready-to-wear, and leather goods. As an adviser, he will focus on product
development and brand extension. His presence underscores Aman Resorts’ ever-evolving approach to wellbeing.

For instance, the highly anticipated Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will feature a 1,500-sq-m Aman Integrative Wellness Centre. Spread over two floors, the urban sanctuary features both a medical and a holistic spa.

Kiyono says, “The centre combines cutting-edge medical treatments with traditional healing practices, creating a holistic haven in the heart of the city.” As longevity becomes more popular among travellers, programmes also aim to harness nature’s restorative power.

Immersive experiences in the pipeline include yoga and mindfulness retreats and performance recovery. According to Kiyono, “These initiatives reflect both Aman’s commitment to wellness and our mission to elevate guests’ experiences, and ensure that well-being is at the heart of every stay.”

She also takes her well-being seriously. Upon asking how she unwinds, she replies: “First, I take a soothing bath, then I burn palo santo wood to cleanse my space and dispel negative energy.”
