Designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy and set on the threshold of Ranthambore National Park, a former hunting ground and home of the Bengal tiger, Aman-i-Khas features 10 Mughal-style tents, all of which provide airy living spaces, an expansive bedroom and a light-filled bathing area featuring a deep soaking bathtub and shower.

A Batman (not the DC superhero, but a guide) accompanies guests when they head out to explore the camp. At Ranthambore National Park, jeep safaris are conducted twice daily in search of tigers, leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, crocodiles, wild boar, Sambar, and spotted deer.

Guests can also explore the nearby Ranthambore Fort and Khandar Fort, go bird-watching along the verdant Banas riverbed, and ride camels through local villages.

One of the most gorgeous Aman resorts in the world, Camp Sarika by Amangiri plants you deep in the heart of the Utah desert, surrounded by mesa rock formations and five national parks. There are trails for desert and mountain hiking, wellness experiences, horseback riding, and other adventures that will fill up your iPhone photo album.

There are also two spa suites inspired by Navajo wellness practices that will put you in the best mood for relaxation. At night, it gets even better. The lack of light pollution means there will be a starry-filled sky by the fire pits.

There is a paradise practically on your doorstep. The 15 tents at this resort on Moyo Island in Bali call out to lovers of marine life.

Coral-rich shorelines and deep, beautiful waters lure divers and non-divers alike to explore the denizens of the deep. You can swim among green sea turtles, blue spotted rays, barracudas, and even whales if you venture far enough and dive deep enough.

It is also possible to observe Rusa deer, banteng, buffalo, and cheeky Macaques in a thick tropical forest if you prefer to stay on dry land. Once you’re done adventuring, an open-air Jungle Cove Spa provides much-needed physical and mental relief.
