Singapore is a city of flavours renowned for the diversity of its fine dining and local food scene, so choosing my favourite restaurants is difficult. However, a few places around the world have left a powerful impression on me throughout my life.

Sumibi Kappō Shirosaka, Tokyo

Located just a few minutes from Akasaka Station in Tokyo, Shirosaka offers some of
the best Kappo cuisine I have ever tasted. Chef Hideki Li is a master of flavours. When preparing each course, his skills and attention to detail are incredible. The ingredients may look simple, but Chef Li creates complex harmonies with every flavour combination. Service and food quality are top-notch, well deserving of a Michelin star.

Clamato, Paris

Paris is known for many things, including love, lights, and dreams. It is, however, the city of good food for me. When I worked there, the best restaurants were always off the beaten path. One of them was Clamato along Rue de Charonne. It was my favourite place to go whenever I had a day off. The seafood is simple but delicious, and you can tell that all the ingredients were carefully selected.

Auberge du Raisin, Geneva

Auberge du Raisin is a gem on the shores of Lake Geneva. Rustic and refined, the
food never ceases to amaze. Its old-school rotisserie always brings comfort, and
one cannot resist a sumptuous classic meal made with fresh and local Swiss produce. The best part? You can stay in the hotel above the restaurant for an immersive experience.

Le Bon Funk, Singapore

We are always spoilt for choice in Singapore. There are so many excellent formal and relaxed dining options here. One of my favourite casual places is Le Bon Funk on bustling Club Street. In addition to the exceptional wines, I love the beef tongue and gribiche sandwich and the lamb saddled with beans. I eagerly anticipate my holidays because I get to visit Le Bon Funk every time.
