In celebration of the 212th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Colombia, H.E. Ambassador Manuel Solano and his wife, Mrs Young Sil Seo, hosted a sit-down dinner at the Windsor ballroom of the Goodwood Park Hotel.
In attendance were Singapore’s Senior Minister of State, Ms Sim Ann, with representatives from the diplomatic corps, business and academic communities. The evening’s gala was held within the context of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Colombia and Singapore.
Colombian artiste Mr. Álvaro Sánchez on tiple, guitar and harp provided the musical highlights of the evening, with the floor opening up to the guests dancing the cumbia and salsa.
