Scented World
Siblings Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi run a three-generation Italian family business specialising in candles and perfumes. As part of their recent visit, they presented three unisex collections—Tiziana Terenzi, V Canto, and Giardino Benessere—and shared fragrance stories from their extensive mental repository. At Amaris, a multi-label fragrance boutique at Paragon, guests learned about layering and took home fragrant stones infused with their favourite scents.
Talking Time
Moritz Grossman produces only 200 watches per year, exemplifying traditional craftsmanship and watchmaking expertise. In collaboration with a+, the German watchmaker held an intimate fireside chat hosted by editor-in-chief Candice Chan at Jiak Kim House. Among the panelists were Christine Hutter, founder and CEO of Moritz Grossmann, Lee Kok Yong, a renowned watch collector, and Kate Lim, regional general manager of Sincere Fine Watches. Everyone enjoyed champagne and a sumptuous food spread after the conversation.
Seniors For Charity
Over $600,000 was raised at a charity event organised by RSVP Singapore, a not-for-profit that promotes senior volunteerism. This exceeds the total amount of donations raised before the Covid pandemic. The dinner was hosted by media veteran Susan Ng and honoured patron and President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. Singapore’s favourite jazz singer, Jacintha Abisheganaden, also supported the event by singing several soulful tunes. Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore designed a T-shirt that was signed by President Tharman and auctioned off for a whopping $130,000.
