France may be home to many decorated chefs, but it has only one female chef with three Michelin stars. As the descendant of a long line of French chefs, Anne-Sophie Pic fuses traditional principles with influences from other cultures to create a modern take on classic French cuisine. Her relentless pursuit of excellence and desire for innovation have earned her a place in Hublot’s list of illustrious brand ambassadors.

Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet, Shanghai

I had dinner here about eight years ago, and it was amazing. It’s not a traditional restaurant; I love how it offers diners a different experience. From the food to the experiential set-up of the dining rooms, everything is pushed to the right limit.

A Bar with Shapes for a Name, London

This is my favourite cocktail bar because of its co-owner, Remy Savage, a well-known French mixologist. He previously helmed the Little Red Door in Paris, another bar I frequent.

Singlethread, Healdsburg

There are many things my husband (restaurateur David Sinapian) and I enjoy doing together. They include holidaying on islands, Japanese cuisine, and dining in this restaurant.

Pâtisserie Sadaharu Aoki, Paris

Aoki is a Japanese chef who lives in Paris. I had his matcha croissant a long time ago, and it tasted so amazing that I’ve never forgotten the experience.

Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse, Paris

We lived 20 minutes away from the world famous Valrhona chocolate manufacture, so I’ve liked chocolate since I was young. My afternoon goûter every day is bread, butter and a piece of dark Valrhona chocolate. These days, if I’m up for a little indulgence, it will be chocolates from Alain Ducasse or my restaurant Maison Pic. My favourites are bonbons with spiced fillings.

Maison Verot, Paris

I love charcuterie and cheese, and my favourite is saucisson. It’s artisanal and typically French. When you’re in Paris, you need to experience Maison Verot for its charcuterie, terrine and Pâté En Croûte.

Oagata, Paris

I like my teas, so there are a few tea salons I go to. One is Jugetsudo in Paris, which is quite well known; the other is Oagata which is not so well known. It’s located in a huge building in Marais. I like coming here for lunch and tea.

Sous Le Fraises, Paris

Probably one of Paris’ best-kept secret. It’s located on top of BHV Marais and offers an amazing view. You can buy aromatic plants here and admire the herbs and flowers that flourish in abundance.
