Ditch the formal hotel dining tropes. Raffles Courtyard at the iconic Raffles Hotel Singapore has undergone a high-energy, flavour-packed culinary reset.
The menu reimagines the space as a vibrant, convivial hub. “Rather than a formal affair, it leans into dishes that are bold, shareable, and easy to enjoy over conversation whether guests are stopping by for lunch, evening drinks, or a longer afternoon in the garden,” says Jesmine Hall, the director of commercial marketing.
Creative mains include Laksa Risotto, Red Curry Duck Confit, and Butterfly Blue Pea Nasi Lemak with crispy soft-shell crab. To honour the hotel’s rich heritage, a collaborative line-up with chef Grace Kee of private dining concept Good Graces introduces Peranakan signatures like Dry Laksa Goreng and Ngoh Hiang.
For lighter bites, tapas like “Har Cheong” Boneless Chicken Thigh, Fried Mantou Chips, and Tom Yum Prawn Ravioli take centre stage. They pair perfectly with the menu’s signature cocktails like the Codigo tequila-laced Forsa Margarita and the rum-fuelled Courtyard Mai Tai.
Best of all, four-legged companions are now officially invited. Following the success of its recent Courtyard Paw Party, the venue has permanently transitioned into a pet-friendly alfresco dining space.
“We saw an opportunity to make this experience available beyond a one-off occasion,” Hall says. “The lush garden oasis was the ideal fit, offering a breezy atmosphere and an easy-going social energy.”
Its calendar is equally packed. Alongside a daily set lunch, Tuesdays feature live grill stations loaded with seafood and barbecue favourites, and Wednesdays allow you to sample some 12 wine labels by the glass. Every bottle purchase comes with the second free.
While the pet-friendly initiative is exclusive to Raffles Courtyard for now, the venue is leaning hard into its new playful energy. Guests can also look forward to giant Jenga blocks scattered across the lawn before or after a meal. “They add a playful touch to Raffles Courtyard, giving everyone another way to unwind, whether for a casual lunch, after-work drinks, or a relaxed evening outdoors,” Hall concludes.
