Hublot’s newly unveiled Big Bang Unico Green SAXEM marks a milestone in its technical and aesthetic exploration. An acronym for “Sapphire Aluminum Oxide and Rare Earth Mineral”, SAXEM is a fusion of sapphire and rare earth elements like thulium and holmium. This alloy exhibits remarkable resistance to damage and ensures a uniform colour and visual appeal from every angle.

Creating a unique hue of SAXEM presents a formidable challenge, a journey Hublot embarked on in 2019 with its initial introduction in the Big Bang MP-11. Over time, it has successfully cultivated two distinctive shades: yellow and emerald. The Big Bang Unico Green SAXEM is powered by the UNICO 2 calibre, a new-generation flyback chronograph featuring a high-performance tungsten oscillating weight that is visible through the case back.

Zenith introduces its first green ceramic bezel to the Chronomaster Sport collection. It also boasts a matching green lacquered dial and debuts the line’s new integrated rubber strap—also in green. Crafted from soft yet durable FKM rubber, the strap is designed to integrate perfectly with the case and is colour matched to the bezel.

There is also a variant sporting a three-link stainless steel bracelet. The watch is unmistakably a Chronomaster and it showcases Zenith’s signature tricolour counters in shades of grey and blue. It is equipped with the latest version of the El Primero calibre, the El Primero 3600, which has an oscillation of 5 Hz (36,000 VpH) and provides an accurate indication of 1/10th of a second.

Finally, Bulgari’s Lucea collection introduces a captivating green malachite marquetry on the dial, reminiscent of the fascination with coloured stones in the 1960s. This unique tableau is a result of upcycling. Skilled artisans at the Bulgari Manufacture carefully select and assemble mineral fragments to create a vibrant and expressive masterpiece for each watch. A diamond-set bezel and diamond hour markers, set in architecturally inspired square settings, add extra sparkle to this stylish creation.

Tag Heuer Carrera

Tag Heuer picked teal green as the defining colour for its Carrera collection, tracing its roots to vintage racing car shades from the 1920s to the 1960s. First appearing in the Tag Heuer Carrera limited edition 2021 model, it reappears in the new Carrera Chronograph and Carrera Tourbillon models.

The former retains the iconic Dato vintage look but features notable technical enhancements, including improved case ergonomics, a gracefully curved flange, and a dial with a circular brushed finish. It features an open caseback that showcases the TH20-07 in-house movement with an impressive 80-hour power reserve, and a domed sapphire Glassbox design that pays homage to the 1970s’ domed hesalite crystal design.
