Sun-drenched days by the beach have a way of putting everyone in a good mood. For Spring Summer 2026, Longchamp invites us to lean into that feeling, with a dash of surf culture thrown in. Bringing together pop and sorbet hues, the collection features fluid silhouettes made for long days by the water and warm evenings after.

Keep in Check

The madras check, a perennial summer favourite, makes its return in vibrant shades of blush, sunset and marigold. Cut into dresses with the slip-on ease of a kimono wrap, they double effortlessly as beach cover-ups.

While swimsuits reinforce the seaside mood, these cheerful pieces aren’t confined to the shore. It’s easy to picture them moving through the city too, carrying a little of that summer afterglow into everyday life.

Rugged Appeal

Preppy is having a moment again. And Longchamp taps into the trend with rugby shirts finished with contrast collars and bold stripes, rendered in mid-century–inspired colour pairings like burgundy with butter yellow, or teal with pink.

Beyond the classic shirt, the look also appears as a sleeveless maxi dress, for an unexpected twist that balances feminine allure with sporty appeal.

The Looong Game

For navigating the city, the Looong bag is a sleek new companion. Its elongated east–west silhouette, inspired by equestrian leather goods, tucks neatly under the arm. Perfect whether for cafe-hopping or everyday errands.

Crafted from supple cowhide, it comes in classic shades like black, mocha and tonka red, alongside softer ones of sky blue and pistachio. Compact yet practical, Looong sits somewhere between a day bag and an evening clutch: easy, modern and quietly chic.

Mane Character Energy

Meanwhile, the Longchamp horse takes on a new personality. A print reminiscent of vintage souvenir T-shirts reimagines the house icon in motion, its flowing mane caught in the wind.

Rendered in pink and splashed across T-shirts and sweatshirts in coral, lagoon and mint, the graphic lends this well-loved emblem a free-spirited edge. It’s an easygoing update that deftly captures the collection’s carefree, vacation-ready vibe.

Craft With a Purpose

Beyond breezy silhouettes, the season carries a more thoughtful note. To mark International Women’s Day, Longchamp has renewed its partnership for the third year with Lana Anaka, an NGO that seeks to empower women in Madagascar.

Working with Lana L’Atelier founded by Narindra Robin, the initiative provides stable employment for 40 artisans and helps fund education and care for 66 children. This also supports traditional techniques such as weaving, crochet and basketry.

The collaboration has yielded an impressive line-up of handcrafted summer must-haves. This includes the raffia Le Roseau tote, a reworked Le Pliage Filet string bag, as well as woven sunhats and playful accessories.

It’s a quiet reminder that behind the light-hearted, beach-bound mood lies something more lasting: the preservation of craft and the communities that keep it alive.
