Seamlessly blending Parisian elegance with bucolic charm, Longchamp’s Live Green! collection is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with nature.
This season, kimono jackets, leather ensembles, overalls, and gingham prints give classic countrywear a sophisticated edge. In rich hues of artichoke and tomato, the kimono jacket adds a modern touch to rustic dressing, while leather pieces—from a sleek vest to an apron dress—add refinement to utility wear.
Overalls take on a playful new look, thanks to broderie anglaise, soft leather, and crisp gingham, proving that practical can be effortlessly stylish, too.
To celebrate the collection, Longchamp hosted an intimate evening in February at The Garage in Singapore Botanic Gardens. The setting beautifully echoed the collection’s theme, with tables adorned with artichokes, asparagus, and pomegranates, creating a lush landscape.
Additionally, Friends of Lonchamp were present, including Chantalle Ng, Cheryl Chou, Yoyo Cao, and Shye.
The highlight of the evening? A beautiful menu by Michelin-starred Chef Jeremy Gillon, inspired by the season’s freshest produce.
Guests indulged in a Longchamp Signature Dish created by Chef Gillon: Jerusalem artichoke with lemongrass oil, citron de Menton paste, and sunflower seed praline, a harmonious blend of earthy depth and zesty brightness.
Herb crusted sea bass, zucchini blossoms drizzled with lavender honey, and a strawberry-basil mille-feuille followed. Every dish was a reflection of nature’s richness.
Meanwhile, a warm glow of candlelight danced off our glasses of wine as solo musicians led by renowned composer and conductor Dr Robert Casteels played Mozart’s melodies. Laughter and lively conversation filled the room, creating a sense of joy and connection.
Indeed, this was more than a dinner; it was a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and beauty in the present moment.
As a final touch to the evening, guests were invited to take home the delicious produce that decorated the space and create their own “green”-inspired dishes.
This thoughtful gesture captured the essence of Longchamp’s Summer 2025 collection—not merely a wardrobe, but also a philosophy of embracing a slower, more intentional lifestyle.
Imagine doing so in a gingham dress, under the stars, with music filling the air?
