Longchamp, among France’s leading luxury stalwarts known for designs that merge craftsmanship, sustainability and creativity, wants us to think pink this season.

Indeed, as a response to one of cinema’s most iconic moments – “Think pink! If you want that quelque chose,” as Kay Thompson as the passionate fashion editor in Funny Face sang – Longchamp Spring 2025 proffers the hue as both playful and powerful.

“At Longchamp, we love colours that convey optimism and energy. In each and every shade, pink says free spirit. It’s time to think pink!” says Sophie Delafontaine, its Creative Director.

The granddaughter of Jean Cassegrain who founded Longchamp in 1948, Delafontaine has worked tirelessly to evolve the family business for a new generation of luxury consumers. Besides introducing ready-to-wear in 2006, she also masterminded the revival of the Le Pliage and Le Roseau carriers.

Longchamp’s Spring 2025 line-up aims to dress you from dusk to dawn with a pink in every shade, and a spectrum of materials spanning sequins, leather, velvet, and knit.

To think pink means to play with nuances, with a rosy glow conceived with ballerina, marshmallow, and blush. Whether it’s a velvet suit in shocking pink, stretch pants in machine-washable leather, a blouson in soft fake fur of recycled polyester, or sequined pajamas with mini vanity case to match, these are lust-musts for women who love a good party.

At Longchamp, accessorising is part of the fun. The bags in this collection sparkle like bubbles of pink champagne in fluffy fur or velvet for Le Roseau, and monochrome leather for Le Pliage Xtra’s mini satchel. If you’re planning to dance the night away, slip into a pair super-supple ballet pumps.

When night falls, take the glamour up a notch with longer lengths for a slinky silhouette, with sexy cutaway backs that are bound to turn heads. Meanwhile, Le Roseau’s bamboo toggle becomes an interesting detail to accentuate a slender neck, and heeled sandals come embellished with pretty bows.

Pink can be both maximalist and minimalist, especially when juxtaposed with monochrome hues. Go on, make your statement with a spanking new Daylong or Le Roseau bag in lovely beetroot.
