Few fashion statements are more personal than designing your own bag. From now until 18 November, Raffles City Shopping Centre is hosting a Longchamp My Pliage pop-up, part of a series of six pop-ups around the world.

Introduced in 1993, the Le Pliage has become a modern classic, loved for its practicality, lightweight construction, and instantly recognisable silhouette. My Pliage takes the familiar design and turns it into a blank canvas to express your unique style.

It’s a simple process  with almost endless possibilities. Choose from seven styles, including everyday totes, travel bags, laptop cases, and coin purses. Then comes the fun part comes next: playing with colours, patterns, and finishes. Consider classic stripes, playful hearts, or a little leopard print, with leather trims and hardware that define you. For a finishing touch, add your initials to the flap or tuck a private message on the inside.

At the pop-up, interactive kiosks invite visitors to experiment with different combinations and preview their designs in 3D before placing an order. Longchamp’s workshops make the bags using 100 percent recycled polyester canvas.

With the festive season just around the corner, a personalised creation would make a thoughtful gift, whether for yourself or someone special. The service requires a six-week lead time, so plan ahead.

It takes time for good things to happen.
