The Astronomia Regulator reinterprets the traditional regulator display through three‑dimensional engineering. Regulators usually separate hours, minutes and seconds for clarity. Jacob & Co. pushes this further by giving each indication spatial presence within a vertically built movement. Twin polycarbonate subdials sit suspended beneath a domed sapphire crystal, anchored by the JCAM56 calibre’s 552 components.
The rotating base, one‑minute tourbillon and constant‑force mechanism move in synchronised, controlled motion, transforming precision into visual choreography. Winding and time‑setting via bows on the caseback reflect the maison’s interest in distinctive interaction. The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Salman Khan
This limited-edition collaboration with Bollywood icon Salman Khan uses an independently adjustable dual‑time mechanism, a rare feature that allows both hour and minute hands in the second time zone to move separately.
