Welcoming revellers since last December, HighHouse isn’t just Singapore’s tallest nightlife venue, it’s also a swanky spot for memorable culinary experiences. Case in point: Its newly launched set lunch menu is priced from a value-for-money $48 for two courses and $58 for three courses.

At daytime, the establishment’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer unparalleled views of the city skyline. Natural sunlight illuminates the space beautifully, with a 14m x 3m digital screen that accentuates the venue with immersive digital art. Diners have the option of plush enclave booths, which are perfect for lunch meetings, and spacious window seats that give gorgeous views of the Padang or Marina Bay.

For starters, the Dutch Kingfish Carpaccio is refreshing and packed with umami flavours thanks to the drizzle of nori vinaigrette and dollops of guacamole. Seaweed tempura adds a touch of crunch, while kizami wasabi gives the dish a bit of pleasant heat. Meanwhile, the Grilled Indonesian Squid transports you to Bali with tender squid coated in a fiery Cowhorn pepper sauce, balanced by sweet and sour pineapple salsa and crispy fish skin.

The Sakura Pork Belly Massaman Thai Curry is recommended and for good reason. Meltingly tender with a crispy crackling, the thick slices of pork belly are served on a bed of rich curry perfumed with lemongrass, galangal, chilli, and garlic. Candied cashews, stewed eggplant, and a side of Jasmine rice keeps it satisfying.
