The Formula One (F1) 2025 Singapore Grand Prix may have been won by George Russell, but it was Jessica Hawkins who stole our hearts. The Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team driver ambassador was in town to discuss her partnership with Elemis. Founded in 1989, the British skincare brand is best known for its Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm—formulas noted for potent actives and sublime textures.

As an ambassador for Elemis since February, Hawkins relishes this opportunity to advocate for greater female representation in F1. Surveys show that women make up 41 percent of F1 fans, with those aged between 16 and 24 as the sport’s fastest-growing demographic.
Also Head of F1 Academy, which supports the next generation of women pursuing careers in motorsports, she’s driving change in the field.
How do women elevate motorsport?
Women have an important seat at the table and play an integral role in every F1 team and across the ecosystem. Together, we can shape a more inclusive sport future for the next generation. I aim to inspire young girls to pursue careers in motorsports. I am deeply passionate about this mission, which is central to my role at Aston Martin Aramco.
Racing is physically demanding, especially with the heat, dehydration, fatigue, and constant travel. How do you take care of your skin?
Having a good skincare routine makes me feel put-together and ready for the day. When it comes to cleansing, moisturising, or brightening my skin, I focus on what it needs. I always prioritise quality over quantity. Due to my frequent travels, especially during long-haul flights, I insist on double cleansing. Having fresh, clean skin makes the journey more enjoyable.
What are your favourite Elemis products?
Elemis Pro-Collagen Black Cherry Cleansing Balm, which I recommend to my female and male Aston Martin Aramco colleagues. It cleanses well, hydrates instantly, and provides 24-hour barrier support. Elemis Pro-Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser is also one of my favourites. This contains minerals, such as magnesium, zinc, copper, and a trio of acids, which remove dirt and grime, and reduce excess oil without drying out the skin.
Who inspires you?
Women who break down barriers in male-dominated industries, such as Susie Wolff, a former professional racing driver who’s now Managing Director of F1 Academy.
