BYD by 1826 is more than a well-appointed showroom with the latest electric vehicles; with its thoughtfully curated food, design, and community experiences, this has become one of Singapore’s best-loved automotive lifestyle destinations.

And its most recent outpost at IMM—the sixth following Zhongshan Park, Suntec City, Boat Quay, Tanjong Pagar, and Waterway Point—is beckoning automobile enthusiasts to the western part of our island. To redefine the future of an eco-friendly automotive lifestyle, BYD by 1826 at IMM features natural textures and sustainable materials, accented with rustic stone surfaces, light wood finishes, woven accents, and greenery.

BYD by 1826 at IMM, as such, is the perfect setting to introduce DENZA. This premium NEV (New Energy Vehicle) marque under BYD Auto garners buzz for its intelligent and sustainable luxury features. Its flagship model, DENZA D9 is a seven-seater MPV powered by a 103.36 kWh battery and hits 520km of range.

Aside from embarking on test drives with both the BYD and DENZA cars, visitors can soak up the relaxing ambience at the in-house cafe. It serves Singaporean fusion fare, locally roasted specialty coffee, and ceremonial-grade matcha. Besides delicious options like Nyonya Beef Rendang, Creamy Garlic Udon, and Dry Laksa, there are also thirst quenchers like Taro Cream Latte, Tiramisu Cream Latte, and Sour Plum Soda Espresso.

If you are not driving, ask for a SevenDaze Craft Beer in flavours like the seasonal Deep In A Dream Pineapple Lager or the Careless Whisper Lychee Lager. The cocktail list, meanwhile, is led by D9 Twilight Ember, with its refreshing line-up of Monkey Shoulder whisky, chrysanthemum essence, ginger hisbiscus tea, and lemon juice.

Here’s more: the space is designed not just car lovers but those they love as well. Like their furry kids—pet food and water bowls are available on request! Collaborations with local creatives, sustainable material choices, and an emphasis on inclusive design underscore a belief that automotive environments can and should enrich daily life.

“Each location we open is not just about showcasing cars—it’s about creating experiences that belong to Singaporeans,” says Davin Ongsono, CEO of BYD by 1826. “With IMM, we’re expanding that experience westward. We want this to be a space where families can connect, where pets are never an afterthought, and where electric mobility goes beyond the traditional drive.”
