Wyndham Hotels & Resorts basks in abundant success, showcasing impressive full-year 2023 results as the world’s leading hotel franchising company. The world’s largest hotel franchising company recently unveiled its impressive full-year 2023 results.
Some of the highlights for the year:
- Introduced nine brands, including TRYP by Wyndham Wellington in Tory Street, Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc, and Peninsula Excelsior Singapore, a Wyndham Hotel
- Signed 222 hotels
- Opened 158 new hotels
- Registered 7.4 percent year-on-year room growth, equivalent to 14,200-plus rooms
Now, Wyndham has close to 1,800 opened hotels across Asia-Pacific. It’s a testament to the company’s OwnerFirst approach to franchising. By delivering success to its owners and franchisees, it creates a win-win-win approach for everyone in the business relationship.
The importance of the Asia-Pacific region was further underscored by Geoff Ballotti’s visit in early March. The president and CEO of Wyndham participated in 27 signing ceremonies for new hotels, including properties in Greater China, Thailand, and Cambodia among others. He also met with over 30 owners across the region.
The Asia-Pacific president Joon Aun Ooi accompanied Ballotti on his visit and said, “Bleisure tourism across the Asia Pacific region continued to recover nicely in 2023, creating unprecedented opportunities for Wyndham and our franchisees. As a result, demand for our 15 brands is as strong as it’s ever been, particularly among hotel owners, who increasingly are recognising the value of partnering with the world’s largest hotel franchisor.
