What if you combine all-inclusive resort living with a luxurious cruise? Wyndham’s answer is Alltra Cat Ba, a newly constructed superyacht resort moored in beautiful Halong Bay. A partnership with Vietnamese private yacht manufacturer Alliga Eternity Company Limited, the 300-cabin behemoth will also house eight dining options, meeting rooms, a swimming pool and gymnasium, and more.
The world’s largest hotel franchising company, Wyndham operates a multi-brand portfolio of 14 brands ranging from upscale brands such as Dolce Hotels & Resorts by Wyndham to value brands such as Microtel by Wyndham. Alltra, which targets the mid- to upper-scale segment of travellers, is the 15th brand it’s introduced in Asia Pacific and the first Wyndham Alltra in the region once the property is completed. The brand is family-friendly and all-inclusive, and its latest has everything needed for a relaxing vacation in Cat Ba.

“Vietnam has been and will be a key strategic market for Wyndham in the coming years, especially as its tourism sector continues picking up. By signing this milestone project with Alliga, we are reinforcing our commitment to deliver sustainable growth of new brands in the market, coupled with innovative concepts and offerings,” says Eudo Chan, senior director of development for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in the South-east Asia and Pacific region.
“Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba will be our first stationary superyacht in Asia Pacific and will join our existing Vietnam portfolio of 15 hotels across varying brands. We are looking forward to working with Alliga, to continue bringing our signature ‘Count on Me’ service to a wider range of guests.”
Wyndham Alltra Cat Ba is slated to only be opened by 2026. Once the property opens its doors, guests can enjoy family-friendly itineraries and sparkling views of the bay while enjoying upscale services, amenities, and activities on board.

And it might not be the first hotel on the ocean, Chan reveals. “We are potentially working on another one with Alliga off the coast of Nha Trang, Vietnam.”
