McLaren Singapore teamed up with a+ for an International Women’s Day 2026 celebration packed with cool cars, meaningful conversations, and curated wellness experiences. The gathering at Mett Singapore (supporting partner) kicked off with a discussion on wellness led by Charmain Kwee, Executive Director of Eurokars Group, Laila White, the founder of GalUp, and Nort Janssen, CEO of The Longevity Suite Asia (another supporting partner). This year’s theme, Give To Gain, reminded everyone how women’s advancement can lead to a more supportive and interconnected world.

Started in 2012 by 13 friends in Singapore, Loaf (short for “Love One Another with Faith”) has empowered the lives of vulnerable women and kids in a variety of ways. These range from educational sponsorship and meal distribution to professional skills development. In February, Loaf held its gala dinner, themed Unlock The Symphony Of Hope, to raise funds for these initiatives. A portion of the money will be used to build a vocational school in Batam, Indonesia, to provide education and opportunities to underprivileged communities. A special appearance by Italian singer, songwriter, pianist, and actress Ilaria Della Bidia was one of the evening’s highlights.
