Vanessa Ng remembers a time when Raffles City Singapore had a popular Japanese restaurant called Inagiku. “I would go every week with my parents. We loved the restaurant with our whole hearts. I still remember it vividly,” says Ng.

“I love telling people that scents herald a woman’s arrival and prolong her departure,” says Ng. Her favourite from the perfumer is Baccarat Rouge 540. Created to celebrate the crystal manufacturer’s 250th birthday, the scent is synonymous with the red bottle and intoxicating jasmine and saffron notes.
