Working from home is a privilege I don’t take for granted. But when monotony hits, nothing beats a workcation—like at a swanky new serviced residence. Spending two nights at Quincy House Singapore was a treat, considering it’s nestled in the heart of the upscale and buzzy Holland Village district, where dining and retail options are in abundance.
The first Quincy branded serviced residence by Far East Hospitality, Quincy House Singapore offers 255 units with pet-friendly options. Each stay reflects the brand’s social, club-like guest experience, such as in sister properties Quincy Singapore and Melbourne—both hotels.
Sustainability is also a core focus of the property’s design, with green features such as filtered water available in all rooms, water-efficient fittings, and extensive greenery to reduce the heat.

Upon arrival, I’m greeted with a trio of refreshing Quincy juice shots in flavours of honey yuzu, acai, and watermelon lime. These correspond to three curated neighbourhood guides titled Chill, Style, and Wow.
The first takes one on a journey of relaxation with pit stops like dessert joint Cake Bar, wine bar That Wine Place, art gallery Taksu, as well as Natureland Spa & Massage, all within the Holland Village enclave.
Meanwhile, the other two feature recommended spots for grooming and workouts, respectively. As serendipity would have it, guests enjoy a 10 percent discount for dine-ins at nearby Mexican restaurant Chimichanga—a place I’d already made a reservation for my first evening here.

Serviced apartments tend to have a reputation for being unexciting, short-term abodes for business travellers. Quincy House Singapore however, felt like a home away from home.
On the second floor, the reception doubles as the Living Room. Plush lounge seats backdropped by a curated wall display of books, plants, and decorative knick-knacks, beckon guests to gather and socialise.
Other facilities include a 20-metre-long rooftop pool, an alfresco barbecue pit, and a sprawling fitness gym with a view of Singapore Sun, a sculpture by American glass artist Dale Chihuly, on the lawn. Those feeling peckish can head to the Munchies Bar for all-day snacks like banana chips, mini pretzels, and dried mango.

The spacious rooms, which come in Deluxe Room, as well as One-Bedroom Deluxe, Two-Bedroom Superior and Two-Bedroom Deluxe apartments, are the best part of Quincy House Singapore.
According to Far East Hospitality, there’s a growing trend among solo business travellers who are staying for extended periods, with a 12 percent year-on-year increase in bookings for stays exceeding six days between August 2022 and July 2024.
As such, the well-appointed Deluxe Rooms with ensuite bathrooms are designed for the comfort and convenience of such travellers.
Expatriates and small families can opt for the one- or two-bedroom apartment. I stayed at the Two-Bedroom Deluxe apartment, which has a separate living and dining area from the bedrooms. Warm wood tones, furniture in botanical hues, and carpets with pops of colour, create the feel of a cosy home.
The fully furbished kitchenette came with an induction stove, along with all the cooking utensils I needed to whip up a steak and mash dinner in less than an hour’s time.

Post-dinner, my partner and I took a quick stroll to One Holland Village, a bustling mall conveniently connected to Quincy House Singapore via a sloped walkway.
Here, we indulged in dessert at the Birds of Paradise Gelato Boutique, while marvelling at the fact that we were truly a stone’s throw away from some of the best restaurants and bars in the area.
Guests, whether local or from abroad, are encouraged to explore the neighbourhood. Upon check-in, they receive a complimentary See You at Quincy kit, which includes a pair of foldable Quincy shades, a collapsible bottle, and a stylish macrame bag.
Those who hope to capture memories for keeps can purchase an Adventure Day Kit, featuring a guidebook and a Polaroid camera, for $200.
