A delightful three-course Mother’s Day set lunch beckons at Bedrock Bar & Grill. Diners will kickstart their meal with Butter Poached Lobster Salad, featuring a lemon herb dressing, before enjoying a choice between two mains. There’s the Woodfired Grilled Wagyu Petite Tender, featuring a 300+ days grain fed Sanchoku wagyu beef, and the Pan-fried Barramundi paired with a rich prawn bisque. Whisk mum away to the scenic island of Sentosa for a Japanese feast at Miyoshi from May 8 to 12. The Mother’s Day edition set menu includes Hassun Moriawase, which includes seabream roll sushi, seared tuna with egg yolk shoyu, and simmered baby abalone with rapini dressing and mustard. The five-course menu also comes with Wagyu Manjyu, a deep-fried dumpling filled with minced Toriyama wagyu and complemented with a rich dashi broth. There is also a Miyazaki A4 Sukiyaki, which has thinly sliced teppan-seared ribeye slices paired with a savoury sukiyaki sauce and egg yolk foam.

For a cosy Mother’s Day meal at home without the fuss of cooking, consider Modern Provision’s takeaway bundles. Available until May 19, the Yummy Mummy Bundle allow you to build your own pasta with generous portions of fresh Aomori scallops sourced from a 100-year-old seafood supplier in Japan, and capellini pasta.
