It’s tall, bright, and comes with Christmas gifts. For the first time in Singapore, Louis Vuitton built a 21m-tall Christmas tree and a 7m-long life-sized toy truck at the entrance of ION Orchard.
The tree is decorated with over 900 Louis Vuitton ornaments while the truck is stacked with Louis Vuitton gift boxes. While you can’t take any home, you can take the passenger seat and pose for a photo with the driver and Louis Vuitton mascot, Vivienne.
You can also enter the towering tree (pictured above) and enjoy a minute-long animation film specially created for the occasion.
Both the tree and truck drew inspiration from the first toy store created by Gaston Louis Vuitton, the grandson of Louis Vuitton, in 1935. In this Salon du Jouet, craftspeople hand-built wooden toys and boxes.
