In a breathtaking revelation, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces two new versions of the Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day adorned with a resplendent array of diamonds.
For the first time in the collection, the dials are entirely set with diamonds, enhancing the iconic Rendez-Vous Dazzling signature formed by two concentric circles of gemstones on the bezel.
One model comes with a striking red alligator strap, while the other boasts a pink gold bracelet meticulously studded with diamonds for a truly opulent touch.

With hundreds of stones and gold beads holding them in place, this symmetrical pattern demonstrates the skill and precision of the jewellers at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers Rares workshop. It was established in 2016 to showcase the maison’s in-house watchmaking crafts: enamelling, engraving, gem setting, and guilloché.
Each 36-mm timepiece boasts a case and dial embellished with 590 diamonds weighing approximately 4.67 cts. The bezel alone reveals an impressive 108, precisely arranged in two concentric circles, with 36 skillfully set along the outer edge using the griffe technique.
Each brilliant-cut diamond adorning the dial is carefully selected to ensure uniformity. Next, a skilled gem-setter meticulously sets them using tiny grains or beads raised from the gold surface. The intricate process of delicately placing diamonds on the dial and case alone takes a staggering 58 hours. As an additional touch of opulence, an inverted diamond graces the crown, while each lug sports three additional diamonds.
Those seeking an even more luxurious expression will naturally gravitate towards the Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day with its pink gold diamond-set bracelet. The remarkable bracelet, initially introduced with the 2022 Rendez-Vous Dazzling Shooting Star, features lozenge-shaped links that seamlessly interlock to create a stunning final design. For unparalleled elegance, this high jewellery beauty includes an additional 80 hours of gem-setting and 436 diamonds, bringing the total to 1,026 diamonds weighing approximately 9.54 cts.
The Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day is also notable for the solitary complication at 6 o’clock, an indicator with a rotating mother of pearl disc divided into two halves that depict day and night. Throughout a 24-hour cycle, it elegantly rotates to display a morning sky on one side and a delicate crescent moon amidst a starry backdrop on the other, effectively communicating the current time of day.

For mechanical watch enthusiasts, a transparent caseback provides a captivating view of the self-winding calibre 898, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship and classical watchmaking finishes applied to it, including blued screws, circular graining, Côtes de Genève, and the open-worked pink gold winding rotor. With a generous 38-hour power reserve, this movement also ensures reliable performance.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has a rich history of seamlessly merging its unmatched watchmaking craftsmanship with its expertise in the field of jewellery. An example of a high jewellery creation such as the Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day is a compelling testimony to the maison’s unwavering commitment to preserving and advancing its long-established mastery in crafting jewellery watches, ensuring its legacy for generations to come.
