Colour was the recurring theme that ran across most of the 40 watchmaking brands that exhibited at the third consecutive Geneva Watch Days fair.

Some, like Urwerk and MB&F, opted for a unique shade to introduce a new aesthetic; others, like Ulysse Nardin, utilised the full spectrum of colour. Its Blast Tourbillon 45mm watch and Lady Diver 39mm, for example, feature bezels adorned with purple, green, blue or pink gemstones that combine to form a rainbow effect.
Urwerk’s UR-100V, on the other hand, has a dial and case in violet, a shade at the far end of the visible spectrum. It is powered by the new Calibre 12.02 that features a redesigned central carousel.

As for MB&F, it introduced two new LM Split Escapement EVO enlivened by shades of blue. In the icy-cool edition, the watch is presented in grade 5 titanium and fitted with an icy blue base plate with a slate grey dial and opened counters.

The Beverly-Hills is the first of a series of limited editions to be reserved exclusively for the MB&F LABs — a new retail format. It boasts a black base plate that offers a beautiful contrast against a metallic blue dial and open counters.
