Invity is not a beauty brand, says founder Dr. Eugene He. It’s a longevity research lab. Even so, the home-grown company’s Youth Activating Instant Filler has clinched multiple beauty awards. As a result of its ability to significantly reduce wrinkle appearance, it has become a cult favourite.

Dr. He has been interested in longevity science and research for the last 20 years. When he’s not formulating beauty and wellness products for consumers, he’s developing hypothetical solutions to life’s inevitable challenges.

He got the idea for Invity during Covid-19. His goal was to extend the lifespan of humans and make longevity accessible to everyone. “I gathered a community of scientists and built our in-house research laboratory to focus on the study of metabolic pathways and epigenetics.”

The pandemic taught him that time waits for no man, so he focused on consumer solutions instead of drugs to bring science to the masses at a faster pace.

The creation of skincare usually starts off as an idea in the lab before it is developed to address specific hallmarks of ageing on a cellular level. “Our products work quickly on the skin to produce results, often within days,” says Dr. He.

There are no toxic chemicals or cosmetic filters. Instead, the brand uses natural or nature-identical ingredients.

Dr. He’s favourite product is Youth Activating Cream Concentrate, a rich, nourishing moisturiser that repairs the skin barrier using nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). It allows the skin to lock in moisture and form a protective layer that protects it from environmental elements. “The product reduces glycation, which accelerates skin ageing.”

The heart of Invity’s formulations is NAD, a coenzyme found in every cell of the body. Besides being crucial for all metabolic processes, it also provides energy for the body’s activities such as metabolism and DNA repair.
