After quite a debut for the winter 2022 season, creative director Matthieu Blazy is readying Bottega Veneta’s summer 2023 collection for Milan Fashion Week. Teasers show a similar pared back approach to luxury that opened the winter 2022 runway — models clad in tank tops and leather jeans fashioned to appear like denim.
What we do know so far is that Italian architect and designer Gaetano Pesce has designed the show space. Pesce’s penchant for bold and at times, contrasting colours, could very well be a reflection of Bottega Veneta’s summer 2023 collection. And while the brand has been associated with the colour green of late, it would be interesting to see how Blazy interprets and plays around with colour for Bottega Veneta.
