Louis Erard and Alain Silberstein reunite for the fifth instalment of their collaborative timepieces, introducing the Le Triptyque Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki. This marks the third iteration of the Le Triptyque series, the first debuting in 2021 with a trio of distinct timepieces.
In this 2023 edition, the collaboration takes a new turn with the introduction of the Le Régulateur Tourbillon Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki. This remarkable timepiece is the first time Louis Erard is presenting a tourbillon and it combines its iconic regulator dial with Alain Silberstein’s unique design aesthetics.
Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki
The trilogy of watches begins with the familiar Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein in a fresh khaki colourway. The timepiece boasts a prominent central minutes hand, with hours displayed on a subdial at 12 o’clock and running seconds on the subdial at 6 o’clock.
The second watch in the collection is the La Semaine Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki, presenting another recognisable piece now in a khaki hue. This timepiece features a red hour hand, white minutes hand, and a yellow running seconds hand. Additionally, it incorporates a day-date display with Alain Silberstein’s signature day indicator, creatively representing the days of the week with playful smileys.
The pièce de résistance and the final masterpiece in the trio is the Le Régulateur Tourbillon Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki. This extraordinary timepiece elegantly displays the hours on a subdial at 12 o’clock and the minutes on the central hand. To add to its allure, the watch offers a captivating glimpse of tourbillon escapement through a strategically placed cutout on the dial at 6 o’clock.
In horological terms, this is known as a minute-tourbillon, signifying its completion of one rotation per minute. The clever implementation of such a tourbillon brings a practical advantage – by mounting a small hand on the bridge holding the tourbillon, the timepiece is instantly equipped with a running seconds hand.
One must also appreciate the intriguing quality of the design: the placement of the hours subdial and the tourbillon aperture not only provides symmetry to the watch’s dial but also underscores Louis Erard’s fondness for regulator timepieces. It’s a detail that deserves a metaphorical chef’s kiss.
The La Semaine Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki and Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki will be produced in a limited run of 178 pieces each. Notably, 28 of these pieces are exclusively reserved for customers interested in acquiring the entire set of three watches.

Consequently, this also means that the Le Régulateur Tourbillon Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki will have a limited release of 28 pieces, accessible only to those who opt for the complete set. This arrangement offers a compelling value proposition, considering the exceptional quality of all three watches. However, it presents a challenge for enthusiasts specifically seeking the tourbillon piece.
The La Semaine Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki and Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki are available for purchase at all Watches of Switzerland Singapore boutiques.
