Secret Session At Coda
Our September Secret Session brought together curious palates and fun facts. Friends of a+ gathered at speakeasy bar Coda for an exciting game of human bingo before enjoying a five-course Asian fusion meal by private chef and host Grace Kee, paired with cocktails crafted with fine spirits from The Orientalist Spirits. Our favourite match: the hearty nasi ulam rice bowl with a fish croquette and the gin-based Mulberry cocktail.
Star Struck
Jazz Association (Singapore) Benefit Gala 2026
The Jazz Association (Singapore) marked its 10th anniversary at its 2026 benefit gala with a+ as its official English media partner. Everyone, including guest-of-honour Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, wore their best Starry Night Elegance ensembles to celebrate “When You Wish Upon A Star – A Decade Of Dreams” at Shangri-La Singapore. Jeremy Monteiro and Maya Raisha performed jazz standards such as Stardust, while Teresa Carpio opened her jazz set with How High The Moon. With the latter as special guest singer, the combined orchestra and artists performed What The World Needs Now Is Love as part of their repertoire.

Food From The Heart Charity Golf Tournament
The ninth edition of Food From The Heart’s Charity Golf Tournament, jointly held with LHN Group raised more than $392,000. With this funding, the local food charity will be able to distribute 9,800 food packs to the less fortunate through its Community Food Pack programme. The event began with an 18-hole competition on the Singapore Island Country Club’s Island Course followed by a dinner featuring several performances.
