Get This Ball Rolling
Like every shot on the green, every dollar counts when it comes to changing lives. In September 2025, the Food from the Heart – LHN Group Charity Golf Tournament brought together golf enthusiasts, corporate partners, and friends from both organisations, to alleviate food insecurity among Singapore’s less fortunate. The event at Singapore Island Country Club raised more than $348,000, which will be used to distribute more than 3,300 food packs and benefit more than 10,400 people.

The Kidz Are All Right
The Kidz Horizon Wellness Retreat, themed “wellness begins with giving” combined fitness with philanthropy into an evening filled with fun and celebration. Held at the Como Metropolitan Singapore in September 2025, guests enjoyed pilates, circuit training, guided meditation, and treatments ranging from ice bath therapy to an infrared sauna. They also tucked into delightful bites such as falafel burgers, spiced chicken skewers, and vegetable maki, washed down with delicious ginger tea. Net proceeds will go to the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) Health Fund, which assists needy patients, and supports KKH’s Child Life, Art and Music Therapy Programmes and mental health initiatives.

Hope Blooms
Founded in 1966, the Singapore Sogetsu Association promotes the esteemed art of sogetsu ikebana through classes, workshops, and exhibitions. These have helped raise funds for the needy here. The proceeds from its 59th Anniversary Charity Gala Dinner at the Shangri-La Singapore in September will benefit programmes by HCSA Community Services, which supports single-parent families.

Fresh Start
More than 800 community partners, donors, beneficiaries, and representatives of the Yellow Ribbon-Care Network gathered at the Shangri-La Singapore for the Yellow Ribbon-Care Network Gala Dinner in September 2025. With the theme “Starlight Odyssey: 25 Years of Transforming Lives”, the event raised funds for NeuGen Fund, Singapore After-Care Association, Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association, and the Yellow Ribbon Fund. In addition, the guest of honour, Edwin Tong, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, shared with guests two upcoming initiatives: Yellow Ribbon Cares and the Lim Tze Peng-Yellow Ribbon Fund Star Bursary.
