Christian Alexander Beck has been with German-based fashion and accessories brand AIGNER for a long time—16 years and counting. Starting out as a designer, he rose through the ranks before taking over the creative reins in 2012 and overseeing all of AIGNER’s design output.

One of his first creations as creative director was the CYBILL bag. Beck designed it in 2012 to reflect the ethos of the AIGNER woman—strong, stylish, and elegant. His muse was CEO, Sibylle Schön, who still leads the company to this day. As for the bag, it remains a part of every collection since. Each season, Beck interprets the CYBILL in different materials, colours, and sizes. Its iconic trapezoid shape, however, remains.

This season, even more iterations join the CYBILL family. Beck has adorned Edge to Edge (to denote the intricate hand-stitching that goes from one end of the bag to the other) with the house’s logo, the horseshoe motif. He’s also introduced new colours, luxe blue, coal brown, and tanned yellow, to the Stretch while also welcoming a new size: mini.

The piece de resistance, however, is the limited edition honeysuckle floral print. An exclusive edition of the Stretch, the Honeysuckle bag is available in mini and medium variants, and in the pearl and luxe blue colours.

AIGNER Singapore is at 290 Orchard Road, Paragon Shopping Mall, 02-11, Singapore 238859. You can view the latest CYBILL collection here.
