Emerging photographer Aaditya Sundar explores Singaporean youths’ growing pains across a series of candid yet whimsical pictures in his debut publication Can You Show Me Your Drawer of Drawers?. We asked the 22-year-old to tackle the theme of rebirth in a series of specially commissioned portraits.

“Rebirth is multifaceted and incredibly unique to each individual.”

“I chose to photograph these individuals since they’ve all gone through some form of rebirth, whether it is their identity, gender or relationship with their bodies.”

“I photographed them in their homes to add a layer of vulnerability and intimacy. their homes are the silent observers of their rebirth.”
