Chanel’s latest high jewellery collection, Reach for the Stars, takes its cue from twilight’s brief glow—neither day nor night, a moment when the rules relax. The collection orbits three recurring emblems, the comet, lion and the newly introduced wing.
Diamonds streak like meteor tails across open-worked collars; gem-set feathered wings settle on the clavicle with barely a shadow; lions, Gabrielle Chanel’s Leo totem, crouch on medallions and majestic necklaces. Everything is engineered for movement: hidden clasps shorten a sautoir to a choker, pendants unclip and migrate, necklaces fold into bracelets. The mechanics stay discreet to let the jewels sparkle.
What Chanel is really testing here is agility. Jewellery that shifts shape lets its wearer control the narrative—work, dinner, after-hours—without swapping pieces. In this context, Reach for the Stars goes beyond being just a celestial metaphor; it represents a quest for freedom, elegance, and audacity.
Dreams Come True necklace

Stars have always held a special place in Chanel’s universe. Gabrielle Chanel adorned her designs with stars, a motif she deemed “eternally modern”, symbolising the freedom for everyone to believe in their own lucky star. One of the most jaw-dropping pieces from this collection is the Dreams Come True necklace, which drapes elegantly like a couture gown.
It features woven black-gold chains that flow into a lattice of diamonds in various cuts. At the centre, a 6.06-ct D-flawless brilliant diamond crowns the star-shaped clasp, inspired by the iconic 1932 comet with its unique asymmetric five-point design. Additionally, discreet clips allow the sautoir to be shortened in seconds, offering two styles in one necklace.
Pretty Wings earrings
Inspired by one of Gabrielle Chanel’s mottos, “If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent them from growing,” Chanel’s high jewellery studio has introduced wings as a motif for the first time. A pair of pear-shaped diamonds—1.05 ct and 1.02 ct, both D-F, IF-VVS—anchor airy wing motifs that stretch across the earlobes. Yet their real ingenuity lies in the detachable trails. One click shifts the look from statement to subtle, highlighting Chanel’s belief that high jewellery should move with its wearer, not the other way around.
Wings of Chanel necklace

One of the masterpieces in this collection, the design features two open-work wings crafted in intricate lacework of white gold and platinum, tapering down to a single 19.55-ct Padparadscha sapphire. This marks the first time the house has incorporated this gemstone, which showcases a stunning rose-orange hue that is enhanced by a trail of white diamonds. Ingenious clasps allow the dangling pendant to be released, enabling it to wrap around the wrist as a bracelet, while the necklace can be adjusted to form a shorter collar.
Sky Is The Limit brooch
Built for swift shape-shifting, this brooch centres on a 2.03-ct pear-shaped Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, framed by a filigree of white and yellow gold with platinum accents and scattered yellow diamonds. A concealed clasp frees the stone in seconds, letting it slide onto its companion chain and move from lapel to neckline. Designed as a brooch-and-pendant duet, the jewel invites a quiet pas de deux between wardrobe and wearer— or, more pointedly, between two wearers.
Embrace Your Destiny necklace

In this design, Chanel’s leonine emblem is cast in a new light. Two winged lions face one another, guarding a pair of perfectly matched D-colour, Type IIa pear diamonds (5.62 ct and 5.60 ct). Diamond strands tumble from their wings like a meteor shower, carving a long, vertical line down the décolletage. Hidden clasps release those cascades in seconds, shortening the necklace to a refined collar.
