Merrymakers dressed in their finest “Brilliance In Black” ensembles enjoyed an evening of camaraderie and celebration at Starlit In Vanta held at temper. Wine Room & Lounge in Mondrian Singapore Duxton last December. Vanta’s members and guests savoured delicious bubbly and wines, including NV Frèrejean Frères, 1er Cru, Extra Brut, 2022 Chablis Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Gautheron, and 2022 Domaine Elodie Roy Bourgogne Pinot Noir. The event featured scrumptious canapes, fun quizzes, and live music, as well as a private by-the-bottle wine list curated by Vinodhan Veloo, Vanta’s Head of Wine Operations, and Roberto Durán MS, temper.’s Wine Director.

New Opera Singapore was established in 2011 by soprano Jeong Ae-Ree as a platform to introduce local audiences to opera as well as to nurture local talents. Last November, friends and supporters turned up for its gala, “VivaNOS14: Around The World In 80 Days!”, and were whisked away on a whirlwind adventure through Italy, the US, China, and Korea. The evening raised $200,000 to support its programmes and activities.
